Tubing or peristaltic pumps are the standard equipment for simple dosing of liquid inks and quick ink changes.

- A positive-displacement pump in which the hose is crimped.
- Quick color changes, since there is no need to clean the pump head—just replace the hose.
- Gravimetric (preferred) or volumetric mode.
- With three rolls, or six rolls for microdosing.
- Easy synchronization with the injection molding cycle and feedback on dosing time.
- Synchronization with extruder throughput is also possible during continuous operation.
