RESOURCE-EFFICIENT PLASTIC COLORING

The selection of raw materials, the manufacturing process, and the economical use of liquid dyes and dye pastes—combined with our reusable containers—enable environmentally friendly and cost-effective dyeing of your products!

Raw Materials: Natural Carrier System

Universal carrier systems made from renewable raw materials in the product portfolio.

• Reduction of the crude oil content in the final product.

• Applications: Bioplastics, recycled materials, and most common plastics.

Manufacturing: No thermal energy input

• Production takes place at room temperature.

• Only mechanical energy is used to disperse the colorants in the carrier system.

• The carbon footprint of the manufacturing process accounts for only about 2–4% of the product’s total carbon footprint (the remainder comes from raw materials).

Usage: Economical to use

• Perfect dispersion: Higher color intensity compared to masterbatch ⇒ Lower colorant requirements.

• Perfect distribution: Transparent/translucent colors with ≈ 0.5% (or less) liquid color ⇒ minimal need for color concentrate.

• Perfect quality: Filtered and homogeneous product with no prior thermal stress ⇒ minimal scrap.

Packaging: Reusable containers

Transport containers such as the ROWASOL COLOR CUBE, 200-liter steel drums, or 1,000-liter IBCs are in use.

No paint residue.

No packaging waste.
