About us
Since 2004, as part of the ROWA Group based in Pinneberg, we have been the specialist for high-quality liquid colors (or color pastes) and additive concentrates for efficient plastics processing. At our Karstaedt site in Brandenburg, we develop and produce customer-specific solutions. Implementation at the customer’s site is supported step by step by our technical service team. The product portfolio is complemented by the ROWAMETRIC dosing system for fast, clean color changes and by the ROWASOL COLOR CUBE reusable container for resource-efficient product handling.
Our mission
“Added value for plastics processors through sustainable coloring.” The choice of raw materials, the manufacturing process and the efficient use of liquid colors, combined with our reusable containers, enable environmentally friendly and cost-efficient coloring of plastic products. This creates real added value through resource-efficient liquid coloring.
Our vision
“Establish liquid color in classic applications and position it as a sustainable building block for the future of plastics.” We see it as our task to raise awareness of the benefits of liquid colors among potential customers. We do this through clear communication about application possibilities and limits. At the same time, we regard liquid coloring as a sustainable answer to future challenges such as coloring recyclates or bioplastics.
Our liquid colors
Our dispersions consist of a non-volatile carrier system with pigments or dyes dispersed within it. They are applied by full coloring of the plastic, meaning the color is mixed homogeneously with the plastic on the processing machine and remains in the molded part. Our core expertise lies in coloring thermoplastics processed by injection molding or extrusion. The use of liquid colors reduces coloring costs and improves product quality. Our dosing systems
For dosing our liquid colors and additive concentrates, we use state-of-the-art technology from a leading manufacturer and configure it into our ROWAMETRIC dosing systems. Depending on the application, progressing cavity, peristaltic or gear pumps are used. We also work with other German manufacturers in the field of piston, micro annular gear and twin gear pumps.
Your self-coloring
One of the main areas of application for liquid colors is self-coloring with monopigment concentrates. By formulating with 10 to 12 “monos” in our in-house color laboratory, an extremely wide color spectrum can already be covered. This eliminates the need for small-scale procurement and storage of numerous masterbatches as well as long development cycles. With computer-controlled dispensers, your own blend colors can be produced automatically, reproducibly and economically. We would be happy to advise you on self-coloring your product portfolio.

To conserve resources and protect the environment, we developed the ROWASOL COLOR CUBE, our reusable container that helps avoid leftover colorants and packaging waste.
