Use of this website can involve the processing of personal data. The term 'personal data' within the meaning of privacy law means all information pertaining to an identified or identifiable natural person. Your IP address can also be classed as personal data. An IP address is assigned by the Internet provider to each device connected to the Internet to enable data to be sent and received. When you use the website we collect information that you yourself provide. In addition, during your visit to the website we also collect specific information about your use of the website.

We process personal data in compliance with the pertinent data protection regulations, primarily the GDPR and BDSG. Data processing by us occurs solely on the basis of legal permission. When facilitating use of this website we will process personal data solely with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), to perform a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), for compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) or where processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or those of a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of personal data (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). If you submit an application for employment to us, we will also process your personal data for the purposes of deciding the basis for an employment relationship (S. 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG).

In the absence of alternative provision ensuing from the following statements, we will only store your data for as long as required to achieve the intended processing purpose or to fulfil our contractual or statutory obligations. Such statutory retention requirements may result, in particular, from regulations under commercial or tax law.

d. Technical service providers

In the absence of alternative provision ensuing from the following statements, data is processed on the servers of technical service providers that we appoint to perform this task. These service providers process the data solely according to express instructions and are bound under contract to ensure adequate technical and organisational data protection measures.

2. Contact 

Our website contains a contact form, which you can use to send us messages. Transfer of your data occurs using encryption, provided you retrieve our web pages via https. All data fields indicated as mandatory are required to process your enquiry. Failure to provide such will mean we are unable to process your enquiry. Provision of additional data is optional. The commensurate legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Alternatively, you can also send us an email.

3. Applications

If you submit an application to us, we will process your application data for the purposes commensurate with your interest in current or future employment with us and the processing of your application. Your application will be processed and acknowledged solely by the relevant contact personnel within our company. All employees entrusted with data processing are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding your data. The commensurate legal basis for data processing is §. 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG.

Where we are unable to offer you employment, we will hold your application data on file for up to three months following a respective rejection for the purpose of dealing with any questions arising in connection with your application or rejection. This shall not apply if statutory provisions preclude erasure, further storage is required for evidential purposes, or you have expressly agreed to storage for a longer period. 

If we hold your application data for a period of longer than three months with your express consent, please be advised that this consent can be freely withdrawn at any time pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR. Any such withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on that consent prior to its withdrawal.

4. Integrated services and third-party content

Our website uses services and content rendered by third-party providers. From a technical perspective, the inclusion of such requires the processing of your IP address in order that the relevant content can be sent to your browser. Your IP address will therefore be transmitted to the respective third-party provider.

Data processing of this nature is performed for the purpose of safeguarding our legitimate interests regarding optimisation and the commercial operation of our website and is founded on the commensurate legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. 

To facilitate inclusion of the content in question, the programming language JavaScript is regularly used.   • Pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to require that we rectify inaccurate personal data concerning you.
  • Pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR and S. 35 BDSG, you have the right to require that we erase your personal data.
  • Pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to require that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit such data to another controller.

    6. Right to object

    Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to any processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR. Where we process personal data concerning you for the purposes of direct marketing, you can lodge an objection to such processing pursuant to Art. 21 (2) and (3) GDPR.

    7. Withdrawal of consent

    Where you have granted us separate consent to process your data, you can withdraw such consent at any time pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR. Any such withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on that consent prior to its withdrawal.
